Fibrain DWDM (Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexer) family is characterized by large resistance to varying conditions in external networks, low insertion and reflection losses. The DWDM technique allows for transmitting up to 40 channels (by applying a 100 GHz grating) in one optical fiber for very large distances (by using EDFAs).
The DWDM technology has very high quality requirements. This is why all Fibrain DWDM devices are measured in all spectral range and delivered with reports that show the whole spectral profile.
