Dispersion Compensating Modules

Fibrain dispersion compensating modules are used in long-range transmission for compensation of chromatic dispersion. Chromatic dispersion is a phenomenon that significantly lowers the quality of high bit rate signals (from 10Gb/s upwards) and typically its compensation is necessary in links longer than 70 km.
